The NY Times has some analysis of criticisms of the TCPA (Trusted Computing Platform Alliance) and some thoughts on digital rights management. Palladium appears to be the Microsoft visage of their involvement with TCPA (along with Compaq Computer, Hewlett-Packard, I.B.M., and Intel).
