Robert Cringley usually has some excellent rants, but his latests on Microsoft's Palladium is nothing short of spectacular. He correctly points out that this is yet another move by the Redmond monopolists to completely enslave your desktop while efficiently wiping out any shred of competition. Palladium brings no added value to the user, but will create conflicts and the need for massive upgrades (which explains the hardware industry's wholehearted support).
