New Tools in the War on Privacy

Mr. Leach sends us a link to a new acquisition by Network Associates that allows companies (or your local government officers) to log and analyze complete network streams at "gigabit speeds" essentially recording every little thing that happens on the network. This can be used to, among other things, read emails, instant messages, or other communications without any knowledge of the user.
