Dr. Kahle tells us that there is only one great chess player who has not been beaten by Deep Fritz, the latest in a string of grandmaster chess computers (like CMU's Deep Thought and the subseqent IBM Deep Blue which defeated Garik Kasparov in 1997) that have been tearing up the chess community. Fritz is playing current world chess champion Vladimir Kramnik, and a game seven draw has set up a winner-takes all game eight. Fritz has beaten Kasparov and Anand, so Kramnik is the last man standing. Will humans regain some respect?
