The music industry moved one more step towards utter irrelevancy by suing hundreds of individuals for sharing music files. Time to start reinvestigating more secure modes of transfer than Kazaa:
Soon, at the expense of some bandwidth there will be a way to completely mask the source and destination IP by using neutral/trusted proxies. MNet is experimenting with something similar. And as I read the DMCA, you cannot be held liable for files that traverse your network--only if you possess them or seek them.
