I've gotten a few comments on the dire nature of Knustler's article from Rolling Stone. Here's a great site that's following the reaction to the article and quite a few interesting counterpoints to the overall thesis. I think it's very telling how much uncertainty there is about this subject, and how difficult it is to truly predict what's going to happen. But one thing is for sure: we've squandered the opportunity to do something about it over the past few decades.
