In what could be one of the more amazing comebacks in Tour de France history, Floyd Landis overcame his disappointing Stage 16 to nearly erase the deficit to the Yellow Jersey with a heroic solo attack up the Alps in Stage 17--and winning his first stage of the Tour. Considering where his rivals are, an average performance in the time trial tomorrow could put Landis back in the lead before the final stage this weekend. If so, it would be a remarkable reversal of events.
Good luck, Floyd.
